In SHAD we firmly believe that continuous improvement and the pursuit of excellence is the way forward to continue creating unique and quality products.

In 2015, this determination led us to win the Red Dot Award for the design of new side cases SH36, distinguished not only by an elegant aerodynamic design, but also by a well-conceived mounting system. The jury had to analyze nearly 5,000 nominations from various industries from over 50 countries. 

In 2017 (officially announced in October 2016) SH36 panniers have rendered themselves liable again for one of the most important international awards, the German Design Award, getting a special mention for its excellent design. Prizes are only granted to projects that truly represent pioneering contributions to the international design landscape. 

Among these awards winners in previous editions, we find very prestigious products in their fields, such as different models of Audi, BMW, Mercedes, Jacob Jensen, Nespresso, LG, HP, Monster, Sennheiser, Yamaha MT09...

Capacity is one of the features that make this new side case absolutely different. Despite its compact design, we have optimized the volume maximizing space. This way, we meet one of the most popular wishes for our customers, allowing for a modular helmet size XXL.

But back to our engineers, they would not let this affect the behavior of the suitcase up and at full load. That is why they have developed a completely new Structural Framework. This framework makes this case waterproof. It includes a double profile and a pyramidal rubber edging within, thus becoming a maze for water, which is directed to the base, where the gutter efficiently drains it. In addition, the structural framework increases rigidity, allowing optimization of the materials used. As a result, the SH36 is the lightest of its market segment. 

SH36 shows a remarkable aerodynamic shape, increasing the bike’s security and stability. It also features exclusive details like the new reflector, resistant to dust, humidity and time, thanks to the use of new materials. These side cases feature different colors –white, black, new titanium, dark grey and the new carbon look- to perfectly fit with both bike and rider. Additionally, as an optional accessory, the reflector can be changed by a red one, not to miss any detail.

Versatile and functional, these side cases are specially designed for urban or medium distance tours. They are perfect for those motorists that demand quality and protection for their belongings, with maximum mobility, whether to move around the city or to make weekend getaways.

The SH35 side cases are more aerodynamic and have a greater loading capacity than the big part of the aluminium cases of the market. With capacity for a jet helmet, the SH35 are rigid and light, thanks to its double structural frame, which provides better sealing and stiffness. In addition, they have an internal tray and elastic straps to fix the load and an inner bag can be perfectly added to transport load in a more comfortable way.

These side cases combine perfectly with the Expandable Top Case SH59X to create an aluminium set that provides maximum versatility, ideal for the urban day-to-day as well as for road trips or adventure tours through diverse terrains.
